How to Tie your Belt - Step by Step

Step 1
:Start with the belt hanging the approximate length you want it to hang when tied.


Step 2
Wrap the longer end of the belt around your waist, twice, maintaining the shorter end at the front.


Step 3
: Take the long end of belt and tuck it under the short end and behind both loops.


Step 4
: Pull both ends to tighten to fit.


Step 5
: Bend short end over.


Step 6
: Cross left side over right, or short end under long end.


Step 7
: Bend the long end under the short end, and through the circle that has developed.


Step 8
: Pull both ends to tighten the knot. 


Step 9
: If done properly, both ends should be the same length, and the knot should look like a fortune cookie.

: When tied, the knot should look  like this.
